Discussion points
- How have you been finding what we’ve been doing on Tuesday nights so far?
- Do you feel you’re more confident about finding your way around in the Old Testament. E.g. If you were asked to find Psalms would you have a better idea of where to look?
- How did you do in the quiz? Were you surprised / pleased at how much you could remember or did you find it too difficult?
- What sort of things have you found interesting/ boring?
- What activities have you enjoyed most? E.g. Large Group discussion/ small group discussion/ pairwork, whole group listening to new material presented by Alex/ having the opportunity to learn new ways to pray/meditate/ video clips/ stuff on the computer/projector / hearing testimony from others
- Do you like the way the material is presented on the sheets (spider diagram stuff)? Is that helpful? What would you like more of/less of? What ways do you learn best/ remember best? How is what we’re doing helping you grow as a Christian? Or isn’t it helping you?
- Do you feel these sessions have equipped you in any way to answer people who say there’s no evidence for Jesus’ existence/ that the bible is just a bunch of made up stories which are irrelevant today?
